The Colton Volunteer Fire Department held its annual awards banquet on Saturday, September 16, 2017. The following awards were given out:
25 Years of Service – Phil Wagner
40 Years of Service – Rick Wood
Captain’s Award – Ed Harcourt
EMS Captain’s Award – Abigail Johnson
Community Service Award – Colton DPW
Rookie Award – Nick Fountain (accepted by his Mom as Nick is currently on active duty with the US Air Force)
Special Recognition was given to Bill Smith to his 18 years of service as an EMT.

Almost 100 members, family, past members and guests attended the event. Thanks to all of the business and individuals who donated door prizes.
